Review: Celestial Seasonings Tension Tamer Herbal Tea

An herbal tea I have used for many years to help relieve the stress of every day life naturally is the Celestial Seasonings Tension Tamer Herbal Tea.

Being sick has caused me a lot of stress and tension headaches, but one of the herbal teas I have been drinking on a daily basis to help relieve these health conditions naturally is the Celestial Seasonings Tension Tamer Herbal Tea. It is full of delicious soothing flavor and contains only natural nutrients in it that work with the body naturally to help calm it down.

What is Tension Tamer Tea?

Tension Tamer Tea is an all natural caffeine free herbal teal that helps relieve tension, stress and headaches naturally. The tea comes in a beautifully decorated box with a fantasy like picture on the front with a beautiful dragon and lady in a red dress that appears to be tension free. Inside the box are 20 pillow styled tea bags filled with all natural herb.

Ingredients in the Tea

  • B Complex Vitamins
  • Soy Lecithin
  • Lemon
  • Eleuthero
  • Chamomile
  • Lemongrass
  • Ginger
  • Cinnamon
  • Peppermint
  • Catnip
  • Tilia Flowers
  • Licorice

How to Properly Make Tension Tamer Tea

Tension Tamer Tea works and taste best when it is properly made. The proper way to make the tea is by boiling some water on top of the stove in a tea kettle, placing 4 pillow styled tea bags into a teapot, pouring the boiling water directly over the teabags in the teapot, placing the lid on the teapot, steeping the tea for 10 minutes and serving it up hot alone or with honey and lemon.

Flavor and Appearance of the Tea

When Tension Tamer Tea is properly made it is deep golden in color with a sweet mint herbal scent and flavor. Now because the tea is sweet I do not add any sweeteners. I prefer to drink the tea as it is once it is made because I think honey drowns out the mellow sweet mint flavor the tea has. However, I have added a slice of lemon to help add some extra vitamin C to the tea when I was sick for further health benefits and the flavor of the lemon and tea together were wonderful.

What Are The Best Times to Make and Drink Tension Tamer Tea?

The best times to make and drink some Tension Tamer Tea is when you are feeling a tension headache come on, have neck stiffness, are feeling stressed out, having anxiety, feeling an illness come on, or when you are having overwhelming feelings. The reason why is because this tea has herbs that contain sedative properties in them such as the chamomile, catnip and lemongrass that help calm the mind and body down naturally. Now the herbal tea also contains eleuthero root that is an herb that contains medicinal properties in it that help our bodies handle mental and physically stresses in a better way. When we drink the tea as soon as we feel the stress, tension, illness or anxiety coming on it has a better chance of relieving the conditions before they become worse and may even help relieve this conditions completely.

Where to Get Tension Tamer Tea

Tension Tamer Tea can be found online, in local grocery stores, pharmaceutical stores and herbal shops in the herbal tea sections. I personally believe the tea is affordable and worth using to relieve the tensions of every day life naturally. I would recommend this tea to anyone because it has helped me relieve my tension headaches and anxiety attacks. It has even helped me calm down enough to fall asleep when my mind just keeps thinking and thinking. However, I would recommend if you are allergic to any of the ingredients in the tea to not drink it, and those of you who are on medication or have certain medicinal conditions to talk to a doctor before using this tea to help relieve your tensions naturally. Otherwise, overall this is a safe herbal tea to drink on a daily basis as a natural way to help handle the stresses of every day life.
